I am a sole practitioner, of 30 years experience in the law.
I mainly practice in the following areas.
1) Litigation (including commercial disputes) In all jurisdictions- I also lecture in Law at BOTH SWINBURNE and RMIT UNIVERSITIES
2) Family Law – divorce application, parenting and Property proceedings – Conciliations, Intervention orders – applying and defending.
3) Conveyancing - fixed price conveyancing for vendor /purchaser- $550 plus disb.
4) Crime most Magistrates /Summary offences
5) Commercial ( sale of business, retail and residential tenancy)
6) Employment Law unfair dismissal, discrimination, drafting/reviewingf of Employment contracts.
7) Wills and estates, including drafting of wills powers of attorney and administer estates (wills are $220 for one - $275 for two incl GST), Also deal with Will Disputes - TFM claims.
I am registered with the Law Institute Legal referral service.
I do not have the expense of City firms (reception, CBD rental, expensive library) and other unnecessary expenses. Hence the more modest rates. I travel to you if preferred.
Unlike other firms I do not charge for photocopying, faxes, and postage, and critically, I do not charge in 6 minute units- where you ring a lawyer speak to him for 1 min or 7 mins and get charged for 6 or 12 minutes!
When you ring my office you get me, directly- not reception, or get a secretary only to never have your call returned.
